Terms of booking
Policies.
Everything you can expect, from the moment you book to the moment your gallery lands.
Booking & Retainers
- A non-refundable retainer of 30% of your package secures your booking, $100 minimum.
- Your date is locked once the retainer is received and the agreement is signed.
- Remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.
- Card, Zelle, Apple Pay, or cash.
- Clients under 18 require a parent or guardian to sign.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Retainers are non-refundable.
- One reschedule is included when requested at least 48 hours ahead, subject to availability.
- Same-day cancellations and no-shows require a new retainer to rebook.
Weather
- Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled at no charge if conditions are unsafe or severe — decided no later than 3 hours before.
- Overcast skies are not grounds for rescheduling. Some of the best work happens in that light.
Arrival & Time
- Sessions begin and end at their scheduled times. Arriving late reduces your time; it does not extend the session.
- More than 20 minutes late may require rebooking with a new retainer.
- Additional time may be requested in advance or on the day.
What You Bring
- Arrive prepared and on time, with your outfits and any props.
- CW Photo Phactory is not responsible for location restrictions or conditions beyond its control.
Travel Fee
- Locations outside of Baltimore are subject to an additional travel fee.
- Quoted before your booking is confirmed — never added afterward.
Your Gallery
- Your unedited gallery arrives first. Flag your favorites within 7 days and those become your retouched images.
- If no selections are made, the photographer selects.
- Turnaround is listed on your package — 3 to 7 business days. Events, 7–14.
- Galleries stay live for 90 days.
What Retouching Includes
- Skin, color, tone, exposure, and standard cleanup on every retouched image.
- Body reshaping, adding or removing people, and composite work beyond your concept are add-ons.
- Additional retouched images available.
If Something Goes Wrong
- In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or emergency, a reshoot is offered at the earliest date.
- Where a reshoot isn’t possible, liability is limited to the return of payments received.
- Specific shots cannot be guaranteed.
Copyright & Usage
- CW Photo Phactory retains copyright unless full rights are granted in writing.
- Clients receive personal-use rights — printing, sharing, posting.
- Retouched images may not be altered or filtered before sharing.
- Portfolio and marketing use unless privacy is requested in writing.
