01Who we are

CW PHOTO PHACTORY is a photography and videography business operated by Collin Williamson in Baltimore, Maryland, serving Baltimore, DC, and Virginia.

02What we collect

What you give us

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Booking details — session type, date, venue or location, coverage hours, guest count
• Budget range, when you select one on an inquiry form
• Whatever you tell us about your session, your vision, or your event
• Payment information, handled by our payment processors — we never see or store full card numbers
• The contents of messages you send us

What’s collected automatically

• Basic website analytics through Squarespace — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the site that referred you
• Cookies, described in section 06

What comes from advertising platforms

• If you submit a form inside a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta passes us the name, email, phone number, and answers you provided in that form

03Your photographs

Photographs of you are personal information, and we treat them that way.

• Your images are stored on our own equipment and delivered through Adobe Lightroom and Pic-Time galleries.
• We may use images from your session for our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing. This is standard practice in photography and it is stated in your booking agreement.
• You can opt out. Ask us in writing at any time and we will stop using your images to promote the business. We’ll remove them from anywhere we control. Reposts by other people are outside our control.
• We do not sell your images or license them to stock photography services.
• Sessions involving anyone under 18 are booked and signed by a parent or guardian, and that agreement covers image use.

• To answer your inquiry and quote your session
• To schedule, prepare for, and deliver your session
• To take payment and keep proper business records
• To send you information about your own booking
• To understand how people find the site and make it better
• To show our own work, subject to the opt-out in section 03

We do not sell your personal information. We don’t trade it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers.

05Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business, and only what they need:

• Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace) — booking, calendar, and client details
• Squarespace — website hosting and analytics
• Google — email and calendar
• Payment processors — Square, PayPal, Zelle, and Apple Pay handle card and transfer data directly; we don’t store it
• Meta — when you reach us through a Facebook or Instagram ad
• Adobe and Pic-Time — hosting and delivery of your image galleries
• Anyone we’re legally required to share with

06Cookies and tracking

Squarespace sets cookies so the site works and so we can see basic traffic patterns. When we run ads, Meta’s tracking pixel may also be present to measure how those ads perform.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

07How long we keep it

• Galleries stay live for 90 days, then move to archive
• Booking records and contracts are kept as long as needed for business and tax purposes
• Inquiry information is kept while we’re in conversation and for a reasonable period afterward

You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see the next section.

08Your choices

Email cwphotophactory@gmail.com and we’ll take care of any of these:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct something that’s wrong
• Ask us to delete your information — though some records we’re required to keep for tax and legal reasons
• Withdraw permission to use your images for marketing
• Unsubscribe from anything we send you

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. Ask us and we’ll honor whatever applies to you.

09Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t promise absolute security — but we don’t keep more than we need, and we don’t keep it longer than we have to.

10Children

Our website and services aren’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information online. Sessions involving anyone under 18 are booked and signed by a parent or guardian.

11Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here.
